Historic City News encourages our readers to join us the weekend of April 23rd through the 25th for the 25th annual Cathedral Festival.
The Festival will be held on the grounds of Mission of Nombre de Dios, the festival offers rides, games, food, entertainment, and excitement for the whole family.
“We are really excited to be celebrating our silver anniversary and hope you will join us,” said Festival contact Susan Hagaman.
Hours for the Festival are Friday: 5:00-10:30; Saturday: Noon- 10:30; Sunday: Noon-9:00
Admission charges will be Adults – $5; Ages 6-16 – $3; Ages 5 & under – free; Seniors 65 & over – $3; Military – free
Hagaman says that the Festival is still looking for event volunteers. “Don’t miss your chance to sign up,” Hagaman said. “We especially need greeters and workers for the French fry booth. All parishioners are welcome as well as CPS families; remember that you have agreed to give 5 hours of time to the festival.”
Proceeds from the festival benefit Cathedral Parish School and Cathedral Parish Early Education Center. “Remember to sign up to volunteer, turn in raffle ticket money, order your shrimp dinners, and buy your advance ride tickets,” Hagaman said.
