Alarm wont help if it calls the wrong number

City Fire Marshal John Rayno is asking Historic City News readers who have a fire alarm system installed in their homes or business, to check with their system monitoring company to be certain that they have the correct emergency contact information entered into their automatic alarm system.

The correct emergency number is 904.829.2226 and rings at the St. Johns County Fire Rescue Communications Office.

That number should be used by all professionally installed alarm monitoring companies in both the city and county.
