Historic City News readers are being asked to assist the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office in their search for four subjects who fled from deputies following a burglary at the Prime Outlet Mall.
At 2:30 a.m., a security guard discovered a burglary at the Gucci outlet store in the mall. Four suspects fled the area after they were spotted — but not before pointing a gun at the guard.
Deputies pursued the suspects until they crashed their vehicle in the area of I-95 and CR-210.
The vehicle was reported stolen by the Duval County Sheriff’s Office and has been impounded. The four fled on foot into the woods.
Kevin Kelshaw, SJSO Media Relations Officer, reported that the four suspects are still being sought this morning as the investigation continues.
