County issues boil water notice for Marsh Landing

The St. Johns County Utility Department has reported to Historic City News that a water main break is impacting an estimated 200 plus homes at this time.

Under this Precautionary Boil Water Notice, all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be boiled.

A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.

Bottled water may be used as an alternative to tap water.

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until bacteriological surveys show that the water is safe to drink and a retraction notice is posted, which is typically a minimum of two days.

Crews are on-site repairing water lines impacting homes in the area of the following streets:

Marsh Landing Parkway, Linkside Circle, Fairway Oaks Ct., Fairway Oaks, Alice Way, Oakmont Ct., Highlands Ct., Turnberry Point Way, Bridle Way, St. Andrews Ct., Troon Point Way, Palm Forest Place, Oak Brook Ct., Merganser Dr., Marsh View Ct., Bridlewood Ct., Cypress Hollow Ct., Teal Nest Ct., Club Forest Lane, Founders Way, Teal Point Lane, Deer Colony Lane, Marsh Hawk Ct., Carriage Lamp Way, Bentgrass Ct., Founders Ct.
