Local St. Augustine reporters at Historic City News have learned that sometime Monday morning between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., a vehicle was stolen from a residence on South Ponce de Leon Boulevard.
Police Officer Jessica Pedonti responded to 203 South Ponce de Leon Boulevard to investigate the theft of a Chevrolet El Camino from in front of the victim’s home.
The victim told Pedonti that he parked his vehicle in front of the house and when he went to leave for work, it was gone. The victim told police that the keys to the vehicle were on the floor board.
Community Affairs Officer Barbara Stevens of the St. Augustine Police Department reports that the vehicle has been entered as stolen into the FCIC and NCIC computer system and the investigation is ongoing.
