Priscilla Proctor, Coordinator of Public Information at Flagler College, told local Historic City News reporters that the college will hold its spring commencement ceremony for graduating seniors this Saturday, April 24th.
The commencement speaker will be John Darrell Rood, chairman and founder of the Vestcor Companies and former U. S. Ambassador to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
“Approximately 369 students will receive diplomas in the Flagler College Gym,” Proctor said.
King Street will be closed in both directions at the main gate of the college, from approximately 8:45 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. for the processional.
Commencement begins at 9:00 a.m. and is not open to the public.
