The de Mesa House in the Colonial Spanish Quarter will feature a special holiday treat as Historic City News readers are invited to enjoy a Colonial Christmas in St. Augustine — now through Saturday, January 9th.
De Mesa House has been spruced up with holiday decorations reminiscent of earlier times. There is no telling what characters from the past might pop up. Guided spirits of Christmas Past tours will be ongoing throughout the day.
On Saturday and Sunday, December 18th and 19th, from noon to 4:00 pm, children will be able to make their own traditional decoration to take home.
Entrance to the Colonial Spanish Quarter is located at 29 St. George Street — the pedestrian friendly street in the heart of the historic colonial city.
Hours are Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4:00 p.m.
Parking is available at the Historic Downtown Parking Facility adjacent to the Visitor Information Center.
Admission is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for seniors and students ages 6-17, children 6 and under are free. St. Johns County residents are always free with identification.
