Local St. Augustine reporters at Historic City News have learned that Wednesday morning, Police Officer William Protami responded to a residence on Poinciana Avenue to investigate the theft of an Ipod touch worth about $300 and an Ipod shuffle worth about $75.
According to the victim, the items were located in the center console of his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway.
The victim estimates that the theft occurred sometime after 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night.
Community Affairs Officer Barbara Clifford of the St. Augustine Police Department reports that the investigation is ongoing.
