Letter: Bridge of Lions traffic

Dear Editor:

At one time, the Bridge of Lions raised the bridge, if necessary, ONLY on the hour and half hour.

It was, I think, a sensible convention and allowed commuters to plan their trips from and to Anastasia Island.

Lately, I have observed that the operators are raising the bridge at all sorts of times — this morning at 6:42 a.m.

Why can’t we return to a more managed schedule?
