New 7th Circuit Judge: Terence Perkins

Today, Governor Charlie Crist announced to local reporters at Historic City News that he has appointed Terence R. Perkins to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge John V. Doyle on the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court.

“Terri’s extensive legal experience, high ethical standards, keen intellect and committed work ethic make him equipped to take the bench,” Crist said. “I am confident he will serve the people of the Seventh District with fairness and compassion.”

Perkins is a founding member of Smith, Hood, Perkins, Loucks, Stout, Bigman, Lane & Brock, P.A., and has been practicing law for more than twenty-one years. His primary areas of practice are defense of insurance and medical malpractice.
