Over 2000 early voters in first four days

With two more days to vote this week in the Primary Election, Historic City News has learned that over 2,000 voters have taken advantage of “early voting”.

Broken down by early voting locations, turnout is reported as:

Julington Creek — 267
Main Office — 444
Ponte Vedra Library — 492
St Augustine Beach City Hall — 392
Southeast Branch Library — 420
Town of Hastings — 62

Total — 2,077

If you are registered to vote in St. Johns County, you may go to the early voting location of your choice — regardless of your home precinct, however, that voting option ends next Saturday, August 21, 2010.

The following Tuesday, August 24, 2010, is Election Day.
