Public Information Officer Debra Johnson told local St. Johns County reporters with Historic City News that deputies in Flagler County are investigating the early Saturday morning break-in at a Palm Coast car dealership.
Deputies responded to an alarm call at the Flagler Chrysler Dodge dealer on State Road 100 about 3:53 a.m. Saturday. When they arrived they found the Plexiglas window of the service department door had been forcibly removed and entry made into the building.
The burglar found a set of keys and started a car inside the service bay, but an inside padlock prevented the bay doors from opening. The burglar fled the scene.
Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office at (386) 313-4911 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS (8477).
