Local St. Augustine reporters at Historic City News have learned that last Sunday morning, Police Officer Frank Shipp responded to a residence on Loring Street to investigate vandalism to a vehicle.
After interviewing the victim, police discovered that a total of eleven vehicles parked between Loring and First Streets had also been “keyed”.
According to the police report, the total amount of damage is approximately $11,000 to cars in the neighborhood.
Community Affairs Officer Barbara Clifford of the St. Augustine Police Department reports that the investigation is ongoing.
