Several members of the St Johns County Adult Drug Court program are giving back to the community by organizing a community rummage sale to help “Make A Wish Foundation.”
The rummage sale will be on May 23rd at the Prosperity Bank parking lot located at 790 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St Augustine.
Donations of nice clothing, working appliances, furniture, toys, and tools are needed and are being collected now. Cash donations will also be accepted with checks made payable to “Make a Wish Foundation”.
All proceeds will be going to “Make A Wish Foundation” who’s mission is to, “Grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.”
The Drug Court Program currently operates in St. Johns, Flagler, Putnam and Volusia counties. These programs serve non-violent offenders with documented histories of substance abuse. Court proceedings are conducted in Bunnell, Daytona Beach, DeLand, Palatka and St. Augustine.
