Traffic Calming Meeting in Heritage Landing

Posted on 02/10/2010 By Historic City News

The St. Johns County local news desk has been advised of a neighborhood meeting to gather residents’ input on proposed traffic solutions to be held tomorrow night in the Heritage Landing Amenity Center, 370 Heritage Landing Parkway.

The St. Johns County Traffic Operations Section will host a Traffic Calming Meeting for the Heritage Landing subdivision on Thursday, February 11th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The meeting is the third in the Traffic Calming Program for Heritage Landing, which is located near the intersection of State Road 16 and County Road 13.

Citizens are invited to attend the meeting and provide feedback to staff and traffic engineers. Staff will discuss the details of the traffic calming process, as well as provide technical details regarding traffic speeds, traffic volumes and observed safety considerations.

Citizens also will hear suggested solutions for their consideration and review, based on information from two previously held public meetings. Citizens will be asked to provide feedback and input on the suggested solutions.

For more information, call Traffic Manager Greg Kennedy at 904.209.0170.
