Patricia Heiss, Vice President for Public Relations with The Toast of St. Johns County, Toastmasters Club 9551, updated local Historic City News reporters that Greg Trzaska has been installed as President of their organization for 2010-2011.
Trzaska, Competent Communicator, received the gavel from Nancy Birchall, immediate past president, and led the installation of the following executive officers:
Vice President Education – Sandra Murphree, Advanced Communicator Silver/ Competent Leader Bronze
Vice President Public Relations – Patsy Heiss, Advanced Communicator Gold/Advanced Leader
Treasurer – Nancy Birchall, Advanced Communicator Gold
Secretary – Joe Robertson, Competent Communicator
Sergeant at Arms – Jared Dollar, Competent Communicator/Competent Leader
Trzaska is a commercial real estate broker with Coldwell Banker Commercial. He first joined the Toast of St. Johns County in 2008.
“I am excited to serve as President and very lucky to have the opportunity to work with the best and most experienced members acting as officers,” Trzaska said. “One of my goals will be to offer several reasonably priced communication and leadership seminars and workshops to the community. Communication and leadership skills are essential components of success, and membership in Toastmasters is one of the most enjoyable ways of developing these skills.”
Toastmasters International is an organization whereby members can practice and development oral communication and leadership skills in a positive and fun learning environment. The Toast of St. Johns County meets from noon till 1 p.m. every second, fourth and fifth Wednesday at the Merrill Lynch offices, Suite 203, 100 Whetstone Place off State Road 312.
