Body identified in early morning crash
Historic City News has been informed that a single car crash, discovered by another motorist on Wildwood Drive at 5:45 a.m. this morning, left a St. Johns County man dead and several unanswered questions for investigators.

Justin Loomis reported to local Historic City News reporters that on Friday November 19th thru Sunday November 21st the Loomis Bros. Circus will be performing at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds in Elkton.
For Saturday’s Light-Up! Night ceremony, Mayor Joe Boles has announced to Historic City News that he has named Mrs. Dianne Chase, director of Lead the Way Day Care, to light the city’s tree, and former St. Augustine Mayor John Bailey, Sr., to light the city.
St. Johns County Communication Manager, Karen Pan, told local Historic City News reporters that State Road 16, west of Francis Road, will be closed to traffic overnight on Wednesday, November 17th and Thursday, November 18th.
St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Corporal Diana Bryant reported to Historic City News that over 300 pounds of expired or unwanted medication was collected at the second Operation Medicine Cabinet in St. Augustine on Saturday.
Halback Design Group, Inc. project manager and principal Jeremy Marquis informed local Historic City News reporters that the City of St. Augustine will hold two meetings this week towards the goal of improved movement of people along Avenida Menendez and South Castillo Drive — in the area adjacent to Castillo de San Marcos National Monument.
