Musicians from the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra will be joined by nationally renowned artists to offer a variety of classical compositions. The free classical concerts at the Cathedral Basilica will be featured over two weekends:
The six-concert series opens on the weekend of Thursday June 16, Friday June 17 and Saturday June 18 the following weekend concerts start again on,Thursday June 23, Friday June 24, and Saturday June 25. All concerts start at 7:30 p.m.
Among our programs, we are planning to bring the Cathedral Basilica’s heavenly acoustics and majestic pipe organ into play this season, with brilliant Handel concertos for organ and trumpet.
