Blue Water Jewelers and the Children’s Museum of St. Johns announced to local Historic City News reporters that they are teaming up for a boatload of fun on Saturday, November 19, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Bring your kids and enjoy a pirate-themed afternoon before heading downtown to watch the “Nights of Lights” official lighting.
Not only will there be pirates with their ship, but also the kids will get the chance to climb aboard.
Stay around for magic tricks, pirate songs and storytelling by the grizzled seamen, pirate face painting, balloon sword battles, and pirate ship knot tying, playing in the past and digging for buried treasure.
Families will be able to explore the Children’s Museum of St. Johns traveling exhibits for more fun crafts and activities.
A treasure hunt for all children makes the day complete.
Grown-ups will have fun watching the kids while enjoying delicious fare plus an opportunity to browse the gorgeous treasures found inside Blue Water Jewelers.
Cost: $10 per child ages 2-12; all others are free. All proceeds benefit the Children’s Museum of St. Johns, Inc., a not-for-profit 501 (c)3 organization.
