The St. Johns County Chamber Of Commerce reported to Historic City News that last week, the Southwest Business Council was addressed by St. Johns County Communications Manager, Karen Pan, at their regular meeting on Tuesday, January 11, 2011.

Pan, who is employed in the Office of the County Administrator, addressed how the County communicates information to the public.

“The County appreciates all input from the residents of St. Johns County,” Pan told Business Council members attending. “All voices count.”

The next Southwest Business Council meeting will feature Wayne Smith speaking on the impact of new storm water regulations on farming.

The Southwest Business Council has a new meeting location; the Ramada Limited on State Road 16.

Look for a meeting notice later in the month.
