“Tickets are going fast for our second annual Dart for Art on February 26, 2011,” Pregnancy Center Director Maria Gleason told Historic City News this week.
Dart for Art provides the wherewithal for St. Gerard Campus, Inc. in St. Augustine to continue their mission; to reach out and make a difference in the lives of young women in crisis and their babies.
Tickets are $175 for singles and $225 per couple and are available at the door.
Tickets entitle you to “dart” for an original piece of artwork created by artists of local, regional and national acclaim. Heavy hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer will be served as well as live music and fellowship.
Purchase of a tickets includes one entry, per single or couple, into a raffle for an original Rembrandt etching, “Christ crucified between two thieves”, valued at over $2,500.
“100% of the proceeds benefit local charities serving this area that assist young women with unplanned pregnancies,” Gleason said. “Your donations are providing shelter, education, baby items and support.”
This event, at the Cultural Center of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Ponte Vedra Beach, begins at 6:30 pm.
Art donations are being accepted. Please contact Penny Conway 904-543-0213.
