Mary Kellough announced to local Historic City News readers that the St Johns Ecumenical Food Pantry, a consortium of 13 member churches, will hold a benefit fashion show and brunch to help the under and unemployed families of our community.
On Thursday, June 30th from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., church members will model fashions by Christé Blue and Something Borrowed at the Holiday Isle; located at 860 A1A Beach Boulevard in St Augustine.
“Today’s economic climate has made the services of the St Johns Ecumenical Food Pantry even more critical,” Kellough told Historic City News. “Now in our 19th year, last year we shared 125,910 pounds of food — representing 4197 bags of groceries for 2976 families.”
The cost is a donation of $25.00 and includes brunch, mimosa, musical entertainment, silent auction and a raffle.

If you are unable to attend, your donations for the food pantry may be sent to Carol Maybee at 597 Christine Drive in St Augustine.
Check donations may be made payable to St Johns Ecumenical Food Pantry.
