Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Augustine and St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
County Road 13 at Sixteen Mile Creek: Daytime lane closures while guardrail is installed and barrier wall is relocated. The speed limit in this area has been reduced to 40 mph.
State Road 13 North: Daytime lane closures in the 7000 block Monday, November 7 through Thursday, November 10 while crews install new utility poles and lines.
State Road 16 from the Clay County line to San Marco Avenue: Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings.
State Road 206 from State Road 207 to State Road A1A: Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings.
State Road 207 at County Road 305: Possible daytime lane closures for delivery of equipment and materials to construct a multi-use trail from the end of the existing trail to Armstrong Road.
State Road A1A – Summer Haven Bridges (just north of Marineland): Trucks will be frequently entering and exiting the worksite at the south end of the north bridge during the daytime Monday and Tuesday, November 7 and 8, for paving operations. Motorists should drive with caution through the narrow lanes in the construction area.
State Road A1A from the Flagler County line to Avenida Menendez: Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings excluding the construction zone in Summer Haven.
State Road A1A from the Flagler County line to Summer Haven (Sea Wall): Daytime lane closures to allow for paving operations and to allow for delivery of equipment and materials.
US 1 at the San Sebastian River Bridge from Saragossa Street to King Street: Daytime lane closures for southbound traffic from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday morning, November 4 for asphalt repairs. Possible nighttime lane closures from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. in both directions Monday, November 7 through Thursday, November 10. All work is related to the US 1 San Sebastian River Bridge replacement project.
