The St. Augustine City Commission reported to Historic City News that they will present their annual Citizenship Award to a senior from each of St. Johns County’s high schools in recognition of their leadership and service to their school, community and fellow students.
Names from each of the graduating classes are placed in nomination by organizations within each high school and the administration of each school names the recipient.
This year’s recipients are:
• Allie Ford from Bartram Trail High School
• Amber Rene Savard from FSDB Deaf Department
• Russell Potter from Pedro Menendez High School
• Casey Sacco from St. Augustine High School
• Kaitlin Savannah Harris from FSDB Blind Department
• Michael Grew from Creekside High School
• Bruce “Eric” Morris from Ponte Vedra High School
• Launa Nelson from St. Johns Technical High School
• Mary Catherine Serfilippi from St. Joseph Academy
The awards will be presented by the Mayor and members of the Commission during the Monday, May 23rd regular meeting of the Commission.
Each student will receive a City lapel pin, a plaque, and a $100 scholarship award.
