Public Information Officer Debra Johnson is asking Historic City News readers to assist Flagler County deputies to locate a Palm Coast man wanted in connection with a Wednesday evening shooting into a Palm Coast home.
Deputies have charged William R. Copeland, 20, of 29A Bunkerview Dr., with attempted homicide and shooting into a dwelling after three shots were fired into a home at 49 Leidel Drive.
The 11:30 p.m. shooting resulted in the homeowner being wounded in the upper left chest area. He was airlifted to Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach with a non-life threatening injury. Four people were inside the home at the time of the shooting.
Investigators said the victims are acquainted with Copeland and had an altercation with him earlier in the day.
Copeland is considered armed and dangerous, so DO NOT attempt at contact him directly.
