Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News tonight that detectives with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office are seeking a man in connection with a shooting incident in Hastings that occurred at about 8:45 p.m.
Deputies were called to North Washington Street following a report of an altercation that ended in gunfire.
The victim was shot, at least once, and was prepared at the scene to be transported to Flagler Hospital by St. Johns County Fire Rescue, according to Kelshaw’s report.
The victim, who was not named, has reportedly suffered life threatening injuries.
Kelshaw informed Historic City News that detectives have developed a person of interest who they need to question. No name or description has been provided at this time. Robbery-Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation tonight and we should have more to report on Friday.
