Letter: Vote no to debt limit increase

As all of you are probably aware, the nation is very quickly approaching the status of Greece among the world’s nation states regarding our debt to GDP Ratio.

In the next few weeks, the Congress will have to vote to raise the debt limit in order to continue their binge of debt incurring, wasteful spending.

Senator Marco Rubio has written a very thoughtful letter explaining why he will not vote to raise the debt limit unless real and credible spending reforms and tax reforms are implemented to stop and reverse the slow, painful destruction of the United States fiscal system and the imposition of debt serfdom on our children and their succeeding generations.

The time is now for us. We can choose to answer the call to make the sacrifices necessary to preserve the liberty and prosperity our greatest and preceding generations fought and spilled blood to sustain, or we can slip into the status of second tier nation states and doom ourselves, our children and their children to a future less bright that what was rendered unto our generation.

I hope you will call Senator Rubio’s office and offer your support and thanks. Senator Rubio has been clear about his resolve to meet the commitments he made to us during the election. He deserves our thanks.
