Patti Henderson updated local Historic City News reporters that the St. Augustine Tea Party meeting regularly scheduled for tomorrow, June 7th, has been rescheduled for June 14th.
The citizens group typically meets at the Village Inn located in St. Augustine at 6:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. The Tea Party organization supports lower taxes and spending and the salvation of the free enterprise system in our country.
“Please join us on June 14th to learn how you can help us effect change, particularly at the local level,” Eric West, chairman of the local group, told Historic City News. “We welcome like-minded patriots looking to reassert their values into the government of the United States.”
The citizen group says their values are based on:
-Constitutional Government
-Limited Government
-Fiscal Responsibility
