9-11 ceremony at Heroes Memorial Park

Historic City News was notified by Nancy Kocher that the City of Palm Coast will participate in the 10th Anniversary September 11th Memorial on September 11, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. at Heroes Memorial Park located at 2860 Palm Coast Parkway.

The event will start with a coordinated National Moment of Silence.

A special presentation of colors will be presented by the Palm Coast and Flagler County Fire Departments, Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and the New York Fire and Police Departments.

Commemorative speeches and a musical presentation from the Flagler Youth Orchestra will follow.

Circuit Court Judge Zambrano will play taps and the County’s Fire Flight helicopter will perform a solemn fly-over during the ceremony.
