Historic City News reporters receive reports of “paranormal” activities more and more these days; and, today is the day recognized around the world as Paranormal Day.
Paranormal Day is a day for all those who believe in paranormal activity to share experiences.
I can’t say for certain that St. Augustine’s paranormal activity is any greater than, say, Jacksonville, however, it does seem light we hear about it more — particularly since the advent of Ghost Train tours and the ever popular “Trolley of the Doomed”, not to mention the many walking ghost tours available from creepy guides to a turn-of-the-century Sheriff. Oh, and how could I overlook a twelve-foot long Cadillac hearse winding its way through St. Augustine’s ostensibly haunted streets — with guests anxious to spot a passing poltergeist or other apparition.
So, for our readers looking for a great excuse to catch up with friends and watch a scary movie, Historic City News salutes you.
