Linda Murray reported this morning that the West Augustine Improvement Association, West Augustine Weed & Seed Incentive and West Augustine CRA Steering Committee have extended an invitation for Historic City News readers to “Take Pride in the West Side”.
This year’s Juneteenth Festivities are being held at Collier-Blocker-Puryear Park; located at 10 North Holmes Boulevard in St. Augustine, on June18th and 19th. Activities will continue until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
“It is our intention to nurture a cooperative atmosphere that will help bring about resurrection, restoration, and rejuvenation of a healthier West Augustine,” Murray told Historic City News.
Tomorrow night, Thursday June 16th at 6:30 p.m. at Collier-Blocker-Puryear Park, there will be a vendor meeting and all vendor applications must be turned in at that time.
Business owners, entrepreneurs, churches, residents and all other interested parties will gather to help facilitate a greater sense of camaraderie within the neighborhood and the St Johns County community as a whole.
