Republican meeting and notice of election

Chairman Harlan Mason announced to local Historic City News reporters that the St. Johns County Republican Executive Committee will hold its regular meeting and election on Thursday June 9, 2011.

The monthly social will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the business meeting will convene at 7:00 p.m. at the Special Events Center of the Northeast Florida Regional Airport located at 4730 Casa Cola Way in St. Augustine.

“This is a very important meeting,” Mason told Historic City News. “We will be conducting the election for State Committeeman at this meeting.”

Also on the agenda, voting members will decide on applications from several potential new members.

“It is imperative we have a quorum at this meeting for both of these reasons,” said Mason.

This announcement is official notification of the meeting and the elections.

All meetings held by the Republican Executive Committee that may be held on St. Johns County property are not sanctioned or approved by St. Johns County, the St. Johns County Airport Authority, or any of the employees of either organization.
