Road repairs and maintenance planned

Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning tomorrow morning and continuing through July 29th.

County Road 13 at Sixteen Mile Creek:
Possible lane closures while crews continue work on the bridge. A traffic shift remains in place and the speed limit has been reduced to 40 mph.

State Road 207 from Wildwood Road to Rolling Hills Drive:
Daytime lane closures on the northbound and southbound inside lanes Monday, July 25 through Thursday, July 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for median repairs.

State Road 207 from the Putnam County line to US 1:
Daytime lane closures while inmate crews repaint the roadway markings.

State Road A1A from King Street:
Daytime lane closures State Road 5A to County Road 203 while inmate crews repaint the roadway markings.

State Road A1A from the St. Johns-Flagler County line:
Possible daytime lane closures to Summer Haven (Sea Wall) may occur for delivery of equipment and materials.

State Road A1A (Summer Haven Bridges just north of Marineland):
Pending weather conditions, lane closure with flaggers directing traffic at the north bridge Wednesday, July 27, Thursday, July 28 or Friday, July 29 from 2 to 11 a.m. while crews pour the concrete deck. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and leaving the worksite.
