Traffic interuptions on US-1 Wednesday

Laurie Sanderson reported to Historic City News that the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork on Ponce de Leon Boulevard in order for crews to make adjustments to a temporary barrier wall along the shoulder.

The work is being done at the San Sebastian River Bridge — affecting southbound traffic from Saragossa Street to King Street tomorrow evening, Wednesday, July 27th from 7:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

Traffic signals at the intersection of King Street and Ponce de Leon Boulevard will be turned off at 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday for approximately three hours.

This is for an ongoing project by the City of St. Augustine.

The St. Augustine Police Department will direct traffic during this time, Sanderson said.
