Public Information Officer Mark Samson invited Historic City News readers to take part in tomorrow morning’s unclaimed property auction being held by the St. Augustine Police Department.
Beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until all items are sold, an assortment of property, including a number of bicycles, will be up for sale to the highest cash bidder and must be disposed of to make room in the warehouse.
Interested auction shoppers should be at the city warehouse located at 30 Pellicer Lane in St. Augustine before 10:00 a.m. in the morning, Saturday, October 22.
Samson told local reporters that the funds raised from the auction are donated to the Police Benevolent Organization.
