The St. Augustine Regional Council has invited Historic City News readers to attend their business meeting on Wednesday, February 16th, when the feature guest speaker will be Michael D. Wanchick, St. Johns County Chief Administrative Officer.
The organization is dedicated to the support, preservation and furtherance of the residential and commercial real estate industry in the St. Augustine and St. Johns County regional area. StAR Council promotes the image and advancement of the residential and commercial real estate industry and the community generally.
Wanchick has served St. Johns County since July of 2007. He is responsible for implementing and overseeing all departments, decisions, policies, and programs of the Board of Commissioners. Kizzy Van Tine told Historic City News that Wanchick will provide an update on past and future St. Johns County economic development initiatives; with a focus on activities and projects that have been completed in the past few years.
Registration and networking begins at 5:30 p.m. at Amici’s Italian Restaurant located on SR-312 and A1A in St. Augustine, and the program will start at 6:00 p.m. The cost is $25.00 per person which includes a full dinner with a salad and dessert, tax and tip.
