A St. Johns County man was arrested Friday morning after a CrimeStoppers tip and neighborhood complaints led detectives to a residence where it was believed he was producing Methamphetamine.
The suspect, identified as 27 year-old Thomas Anthony Trapini Jr., pulled up to his home on Plantation Point Dr., at 10:00 a.m. Friday, just as detectives were serving a search warrant.
Trapini was arrested on an outstanding warrant for two counts of sale of Methamphetamine and was booked into the St. Johns County Jail where he remains in lieu of bonds totaling $200,000.
He faces additional charges because detectives located materials inside his home that are typically used to produce Methamphetamine, as suspected.
A female passenger in Trapini’s vehicle, identified as 19 year-old Desarae Combs who resides at 4685 Avenue D, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and was released the next day after posting a $500 appearance bond.
