CELEBRATE ART 2011: MEMBERS’ EXHIBITION
See the best creations by Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach members at Celebrate Art 2011, the 4th Annual Juried Artist Member Exhibition. BEGINNER’S BIRDING BOAT TOUR
Presented by St. Augustine Eco Tours, this 90-minute tour focuses on the area’s most common bird residents and their identifying features. AN AFTERNOON WITH NANCY LOPEZ
Be there when LPGA legend Nancy Lopez tours her new exhibit at The World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum. The exhibit, “Nancy Lopez: Pride Passion & Personality,” features more than 100 pieces of memorabilia from her electric career, including LPGA Championship trophies, her trophy from the inaugural Solheim Cup and even the legendary Ray Cook putter she used to win so many of her 48 LPGA titles. From 4-6 p.m., guests will have an opportunity to tour the museum, see the Lopez exhibit and attend a speaking program with her in the museum’s Shell Hall. EMMA CONCERT: A FAR CRY
Enjoy an inspiring performance by a 17 -member string ensemble who play without a conductor. Each performer, referred to as a “Crier”, is a virtuoso on his or her instrument. The program includes works by J.S. Bach, Samuel Barber, Bela Bartok and Felix Mendelssohn. The program begins at 2 p.m. at Flagler College Auditorium, 14 Granada Street in St. Augustine. THE WIVES AND LIVES OF HENRY FLAGLER
