Administrative Assistant Melissa Lundquist reported to Historic City News that she is currently providing applications to residents of St Johns County who would be willing to serve in one of three vacancies on two volunteer advisory boards.
Appointments are made by decision of the St Johns County Board of Commissioners.

Industrial Development Authority
Application Submission Deadline: April 18, 2012
One (1) VacancyPurpose of Committee: Created for the purpose of financing and refinancing projects for the public purpose described and in the manner provided by Florida Industrial Development Financing Act to foster economic development within St Johns County.
Qualifications: Prefer representation from County Commission Districts 1 or 3. Must be a registered voter in St. Johns County. Members must file financial disclosure.
Meeting schedule: This Authority meets as needed on the 2nd Monday of every other month from 3-5pm in the BOCC Executive Board Conference Room, 500 San Sebastian View.
Planning & Zoning Agency
Application Submission Deadline: April 18, 2012
Two (2) VacanciesPurpose of Committee: Advisory capacity and recommending body to the St Johns County Board of County Commissioners on matters relating to zoning of land, amendment of Land Development Regulations, Land Use amendments and Major Modifications to Planned Unit Developments and Planned Rural Developments.
Qualifications: Must be a register voter in St Johns County. Members must file financial disclosure.
Meeting schedule: This Board meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 1:30pm in the County Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View.
