St Augustine residents Worley and Dena Faver opened their gallery six years ago to educate visitors on the art of building pottery using ancient techniques and to show and promote Worley’s pottery, which has become highly collectable.
Historic City News readers are invited to visit Worley Faver and to observe his progress throughout the weekend as he creates a new piece of pottery at his 11a Aviles Street gallery.
As part of the educational process, the Gallery will host “Lunch and Learn” experiences next Tuesday and Wednesday (January 25 and 26). These lunchtime talks and demos provide a great opportunity to meet the artists who exhibit at the Gallery.
For more information, call the Gallery to sign up for these events at 904 860 1098.
Faver reported that he is in his gallery Monday and between Thursday and Sunday each week from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
