Former Commissioner Lennon recognized

Former St Augustine City Commissioner William J Lennon appeared before the current board last night to receive recognition for his role in establishing the highly successful Nights of Lights celebration.

Recently, National Geographic ranked the City and Lennon’s vision for the special-effects lighting that has become the annual Nights of Lights, as one of the top ten holiday “sights to see” in the world.

Lennon accepted a certificate presented by the mayor and framed photograph presented by Commissioner Errol Jones, who served with Lennon on the city commission during his term.
