After a two-day trial, a St Johns County jury deliberated for approximately three hours yesterday before finding 42-year-old Clay County man, Isaac Sieh Forh, guilty as charged of Robbery with a Firearm, a first degree felony, punishable by life.
State Attorney R J Larizza reported to Historic City News that, last year, the victim was in the men’s restroom at the Premium Outlet Mall when the defendant attempted to take the victim’s wallet, resulting in a physical fight with the suspect.
When the victim tried to leave, the defendant blocked the door and aimed a black handgun at him, demanding his wallet — which the victim handed over.
Forh was convicted of another robbery in Clay County since then. He has been serving a twelve (12) year prison sentence for that crime.
Assistant State Attorneys Josh Alexander and Chris Ferebee prosecuted Forh.
Josh Alexander said a sentencing hearing for Forh has been scheduled for August 10th at 9am. He faces a maximum of life in prison.
