Early voting ends in St Johns County

St Johns County Supervisor of Elections Vicky Oakes reported to Historic City News in St Augustine that all polling locations have closed on this, the last day of early voting in the 2012 Primary Election.

Julington Creek Annex was recognized for the most “early voters” today.

Oakes reported a voter turnout of 7.7% since early voting began last week.

Mailed ballots will be presented to the Canvassing Board at 9:00 A.M. on Monday for processing. Oakes told reporters that 4,137 absentee ballots have been received thus far.

Of the 150,227 eligible voters in this election, ballots have been cast by ‎7,496.
