A design by Flagler College student Victoria Hardina was recently selected as the logo for the Italy Writes program, according to an announcement received this week by Historic City News in St Augustine.
The program, an Italian high school creative writing competition, is based at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy, where Hardina took classes as a visiting student last spring.
“JCU is very proud of our students who contribute to building cultural ties between students from the United States and around the world,” said Dr. Mary Merva, Dean of Academics at John Cabot University.
Italy Writes engages high school students in the development of their English creative-writing skills and is open to all students enrolled in Italian high schools that do not have English as the primary language of instruction.
