Jessica Pycraft reported to Historic City News that Pycraft Legal Services, LLC will host a free foreclosure defense seminar at 1:00 p.m. in their offices at 3505 US-1 South, Suite 2 in St. Augustine on Saturday, March 3, 2012.
A limited number of free initial consultations to local residents considering or facing foreclosure will be provided, Pycraft said.
For those interested in the short sale process, Watson Realty Corporation agent Dawn Gaffney will also be on hand to answer questions.
Attendees should register in advance by calling (904) 940-0060 as space is limited.
With hundreds of properties in foreclosure each month throughout St. Johns and Duval County, attorney Thomas R. Pycraft, Jr. intends to provide homeowners in foreclosure, or in danger of foreclosure, a free opportunity to get an overview of the process.
“Some people want to stay in their homes, others do not,” Pycraft said. “This seminar aims to inform homeowners of their options in retention or liquidation, loan modifications and new federal programs.”
Homeowners should bring foreclosure papers to the seminar in order to take advantage of free consultations.
