Young Life of St. Augustine will hold their 9th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, April 23rd at Marsh Creek Country Club located at 169 Marshside Drive in St Augustine, according to an announcement received from Historic City News reader Robin Burchfield today.
Burchfield reported that she is working on getting players for the upcoming Young Life Golf Tournament and asked for our help.
“All the funds raised during the Kyle Allen Memorial Golf Tournament will go to help Young Life continue to have a positive influence on high school and middle school students in the area,” Burchfield said. “The cost is $125 per player and includes captain’s choice tournament and food before and after play.”
Registration is at 10:30 a.m. with an 11:30 a.m. shotgun start.
“Kyle was involved with Young Life through Pedro Menendez High School,” Burchfield told reporters. “Young Life offers teenagers weekly activities, high adventure camping and adult friends who take the time to care.”
Young Life in St Augustine is a non-denominational outreach program for middle and high school students providing an exciting and rewarding place for teenagers to be with friends at a time in their lives when they desperately need a constructive channel for the strong instinct to “belong”.
Sponsorship opportunities are available as well, Burchfield said.
Call the Young Life office at 904.824.9388 for registration and sponsorship information.
