Romanza president Albert Syeles reported to Historic City News that Tuesday evening, June 12, would be the last Gathering of the local art and cultural event organization until September, “while we take a summer hiatus”.
The June meeting, which is, in honesty, more of a social networking event, will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Zaharias Restaurant located at 3945 A1A South at St Augustine Beach.
“Our Gatherings are a compellingly unique and comfortable opportunity for the creative community to socialize, communicate and share ideas and information,” Syeles told Historic City News; who was one of the media sponsors for recent Romanza Week activities. “This networking program is open to all individuals and cultural organizations, members and non-members alike.”
Romanza is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to promote and produce performing arts and cultural events that celebrate the romantic splendor of St Augustine; to enhance both the quality of life for residents and the lasting impression of the Nation’s Oldest City for visitors.
A cash bar is available — no reservations are necessary, Syeles said.
