There’s only one more opportunity for Historic City News readers to experience what has become “the best way to spend a Thursday night in St. Augustine,” when Lonesome Bert and The Skinny Lizards bring their original Americana folk to the Plaza’s Gazebo on Thursday, August 30.
Since its inception 22 years ago, the concluding concert has been held on Labor Day afternoon — and that continues this year when Jazz Piersonified and Friends performs in the Plaza on September 3 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm.
Concerts are free and attendees should bring lounge chairs for seating. Picnic dinners are popular, but alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the Plaza. Complete schedule and maps to the Plaza and The VIC where there is plenty of parking are available at www.plazaconcerts.com.
Concerts in the Plaza is produced by the City of St. Augustine with support from the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council — a great partnership providing great entertainment in a great place.
