Lifesaving CPR training for graduating seniors

Posted on 05/09/201205/10/2012 By Historic City News

St Johns County Fire Rescue public information officer Jeremy Robshaw told local Historic City News reporters that the agency will host its first Senior class “Hands Only” CPR event at Pedro Menendez High School on Tuesday, May 15, 2012.

“This event will provide graduating seniors basic lifesaving skills to better prepare them in the event they are ever faced with a medical emergency,” Robshaw said.

Working with the St Johns County School District, Fire Rescue has been able to set this event so that we can teach all of the graduating class in one day.

Robshaw told reporters, “By the end of the day we will have trained over 300 students.”
