Watch the lights — not the downtown traffic

Here’s a suggestion for Historic City News readers who want to explore St Augustine’s famous Night of Lights but don’t want the hassle of driving in and out of traffic — try the Holly Jolly Trolley this year.

Delight at the festive wonderland of the historic area, glittering with over 2 million lights, from the cozy comfort of your Holly Jolly Trolley; and, you’ll spend your time watching lights instead of watching pedestrians — who always seem to be looking the other way from where they’re walking.

This tour is an annual tradition for thousands, and is sure to be one of your favorite holiday outings. Caroling, hot cider, and homemade cookies add to the magic of your evening.

Guests will receive complimentary magical viewing glasses, handcrafted by Santa’s elves exclusively for our guests. These amazing glasses will enhance the twinkle and glimmer of the lights, making this ride even more special.

We’ll be riding nightly. Come share holiday cheer with friends or snuggle up with loved ones and make this your holiday tradition. We’ll warm up the cider!

Tours leave from the Visitors Information Center, 10 West Castillo Drive; with continuous departures nightly from 6 pm to 8 pm: November 18, 2012 – January 1, 2013. Private Charters are available nightly November 18 to January 31.
